Not working on Mac OS 10.5?

Hi,

i am working on mac os x 10.5 with firefox 2.0.0.11 and I have the newest version of Brief installed.
When I load the extention, the "sidebar" appears, but all buttons are deactivated and no content loads.

Any fixes?

What does the Error Console (under Tools) say when you use Brief?

Have you checked Brief on a clean profile and then checked it against all your other add-ons (by installing said add-ons one at a time and then disabling them after you're done checking)?

If you find problems with Brief without other add-ons, then Brief has bugs to be stomped out. If you find Brief having problems when you add the other add-ons onto your profile, then you're experiencing add-on conflicts.

I am sorry, its german.
So, I guess, its no conflict with another extention.

It's the same problem as the one reported in http://brief.mozdev.org/drupal/node/121. I am investigating it right now.

It seems somehow to be related to Growl. After installing the Growl extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/4634) I had the same problem as described above. After several attempts to "fix" Brief, I realized (since it was working before) that it had to be something else. And since I had installed the Growl extension for notifications in Brief, I just uninstalled it - and voilà, it worked.
Still, it would be cool, to have Brief display notifications via Growl. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm completely new to Mac...

I have growl installed, but as far as i can remember, in did not show any messages for firefox exept "Download finished",...

I am now using Brieg on firefox 3 and it is working fine!
I am realy glad to have my fav rss reader back...
