Brief shows new messages but no are there

Hi folks,
i have a little problem with Brief 1.2 for the Firefox 3, all my RSS Feeds are marked that there are 10 or more new News but when i am klicking on the feed in the left sidebar no news are displayed in the right main window. When i'm flaging the Feed as read nothing happens. There are furthermore the 10 or more News.
Is this a bug? How can i fix it?

This Feeds are all displayed correct from foxnews, another RSS extension for firefox so I think the problem is on the side of Brief.

All feeds work for me with Brief 1.2 on Firefox 3 with Windows XP SP 2. Though two of the feeds are invalid.

Mhhh for me they work but my problem effect all feeds and not only this two. Mybe it is a solution to remove Brief completly and install it again.
Can anybody tell me how I can remove Brief complet? When I only remove it via the addon manager and install it again the problem still exist.
