Unable to add feeds in Win7 (did work in Vista)

Hello there!
First of all: I usually know how to add feeds. I did use Brief (awesome, btw.) for a long time in Windows Vista. Recently I updated to Windows 7 and copied Brief with my old saved FF files into the new FF Version in Windows 7 (maybe thats the source for the error?).
When I direct Brief to the Bookmark-Folder where my RSS feeds are located simply nothing happens. They arent added to Brief, there is no "brief" delay, simply nothing. I deinstalled and reinstalled Brief, due to my thought it might be something about porting the files from my old FF version. I dont know if a simple deinstall does work, because I copied the profiles folder...
do you know any help? I want to use brief again. :/
With best regards,
smoo

bump

Please don't do that. If you're going to bump up old threads including any threads you made, you need significant content to justify the bump.

Now I dunno if you have items in Brief you want to keep, but if not (and if necessary), you can delete brief.sqlite from your profile. Also when telling Brief what folder holds your feeds, be sure you "OK" the selection by pressing the OK button on-screen.

If you're still having problems, then your profile may have been corrupted in the move to Windows 7. You may need a new profile.
