Problem with Steam RSS Feed

Since the 1.2.3 update the Steam News RSS Feed at http://store.steampowered.com/feeds/news.xml won't update anymore.
The activity indicator in Brief just keeps spinning, but nothing ever happens.

Error: aDateString.match("\\s[a-ik-zA-IK-Z]$") is null

ff3.5.3, win7, other feeds seem to be unaffected.

The feed is broken (invalid).  Contact the feed's webmaster and tell him/her/them to fix the feed.

It is indeed a regression, thank you for reporting. It will be fixed in the next version.

Unfortunately this problem was not fixed with version 1.2.4.

This problem turned out to be more difficult than I thought initially and I didn't have time to fix it in time for 1.2.4, which was a quick release. I am going to investigate it futher for the next version.
