feature request : add [Clear all items] button

Hello,
I use this option everyday through option window.
That's why I'd like to have a button in the main side panel next to [Open Brief Option] button.

I don't think it is a good idea, because few people need to use it so often. Why do you clear the items so often? For privacy reasons or something else?

Because I have a lot of RSS feeds and once I have read those I want, I think send them to trash is not relevent, it's growing brief.sqlite uselessly.
And [Clear all items] is shorter than
- right click on Unread
- click [Empty Feed]
- right click on trash
- click [Empty Trash]
One step button that does all that 4 steps would saved my time.

You could just open Brief's Options and click "Clear all items..." under Main > Storing. That'll bring you down to just two steps as you wouldn't need to do anything else but the steps I just listed after you finish reading and saving all the items you want in Brief.

Sorry, your original post was a bit unclear. Thank you for clarifying what you were looking for. I guess it's now up to ancestor to decide on the feature request, but you may want to prove this addition will be a great addition in a future Brief update. Maybe if you make some mockups of how this action would work in Brief?
